Nishikinohama beach/ Osaka has Beaches!
Osaka is not blessed with beaches, but here are a few of my recommendations to help people in the area enjoy the beaches, ocean air and cool off with a swim.
Tanabata – The Star Festival / Shitennoji Temple, Osaka
Final preparations are underway for this year’s festival which takes place on July 6, 7th and 8th: Shitennouji temple’s workers are building the bamboo tunnel
Castle view point / Osaka castle
You can still have a quick look at Osaka castle from the distance at JR Morinomiya station on the loop line, if visiting the castle is not a priority.
Dr. Yellow/ Japanese yellow bullet train
This is Dr. Yellow! He is a “doctor” because his job is to check the train track and help with maintenance and keep the trains running on time.
Otaku Paradise/ Nipponbashi Den Den Town
Electronic stores, maid cafés, toy stores, video game stores, hobby shops, music shops, and some duty free shops all can be found in Den Den Town, Osaka.
Dorayaki/ Akanemaru-honpo (茜丸本舗)
Dorayaki is a type of Japanese confection, а red-bean pancake which consists of two small pancake-like patties made from castella cake. Doraemon loves dorayaki!
Tennouji 7 slopes/ A peaceful & secret path, Osaka
This path in the middle of the city takes you up and down a series of historical slopes and leads you through all kinds of temples and other interesting sites.
Air track/ 300m running track on the mall
Morinomiya Q’s mall is a “runable” shopping mall with the artificial 300-meter turf track on top the mall, If you want to try something new.
Selfie with Abeno Harukas
If you fancy a coffee after all your Tennouji area sightseeing, how about getting some fresh air at the same time! You can also take a selfie with Harukas.

Tsutenkaku was built in 1912 as the symbol of Shin-Sekai (which mean “new world”). 600yen admission to the 85m observation platform on the 5th floor
Free observatory/ Abeno Harukas (あべのハルカス)
The spectacular scenery from the 300m but there is a free entry Harukas garden on 16th floor, It’s almost the same height as Tsutenkaku tower.
