Nintendo Museum is a museum facility renovated from the Nintendo Uji Ogura Factory in Uji.

Many products released by Nintendo in the past are on display. Visitors can learn about Nintendo’s commitment to manufacturing and the transition of its products by comparing them with their own memories and experiences.

You can also experience various amusements in which Nintendo’s craftsmanship has been reborn with modern technology, and make and play “Hanafuda” (Japanese playing cards), Nintendo’s origins, while learning the rules.

Official goods themed on the world of Nintendo’s games and characters, as well as limited-edition goods available only at the Nintendo Museum, are available for purchase.


Tickets are currently sold by random drawing, you must purchase before your visit.

Access : 5-minute walk from the East exit of Ogura Station (Kintetsu Railway Kyoto Line), 8-minute walk from the North exit of JR Ogura Station (JR Nara Line)

Hours : 10:00-18:00 (Last admission 16:30)

Closed : Tuesdays and through the New Year’s holiday season (Dec. 30 – Jan. 3)
*If Tuesday is a national holiday, the museum will be open but closed the following day (Wednesday).
