Minabe-Bairin Plum Blossom viewing

January 24 March 1

Minabe Bairin Plum Orchard in Wakayama Prefecture is the largest plum grove in Japan, with approximately 100,000 plum trees.

White and pale pink blossoms blanket the mountainside, creating a breathtaking landscape. Visitors can stroll through the orchard while enjoying the gentle, sweet fragrance of plum blossoms in the air.

Every weekend during the season, various events are held, including traditional drum performances, tea ceremonies, and even fun plum pit–throwing contests.
