Ikutama Shrine Summer Festival
July 11 – July 12
Visitors can enjoy a variety of performances at the shrine, as well as numerous food stalls surrounding Ikutama Shrine. In the evening, the festivities come alive with Shishimai (lion dance) performances and a Mikoshi (portable shrine procession). The highlight of the festival is the vibrant Makura Daiko drum procession, featuring worshippers wearing distinctive red caps as they parade through the streets.
