The Kushi Matsuri (Comb Festival) at Yasui Konpiragu Shrine features a colorful parade of around 45 women, each wearing hairstyles and traditional clothing representing different eras from ancient times to the present day. Following the ceremony, which begins at 1 p.m., the participants parade through the neighborhood around the shrine from approximately 2 to 3 p.m.
