Hirakata City has held a large fireworks festival every year since 1956, and at that time it was the second largest in Osaka Prefecture.

From 1976 to 2003, it was held annually as Kurawanka Fireworks Festival. The fireworks festival that holds great memories for local residents has been reborn as “Suito Kurawanka Fireworks Festival”.

Suito Kurawanka Fireworks Festival will launch as many fireworks as the number of children born in Hirakata City and Takatsuki City, to wish for the development of the region.
