Hitaki-sai Fire Festival – Fushimi Inari Shrine
Tens of thousands of the ritual tossing prayer sticks gathered from around Japan are burned in bonfires at Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto.
Toka Ebisu Festival / Kyoto
Toka Ebisu Festival is held at the Kyoto Ebisu Shrine, located next to Kennin-ji. Women in traditional costume come to the shrine to hand out lucky bamboos.
