The Shirahama Fireworks Festival is one of Wakayama’s most spectacular summer events. Around 3,500 fireworks are launched from barges just offshore, illuminating the night sky above Shirarahama Beach with breathtaking reflections across the sea.

The festival’s highlight is the 1,000-meter-long Niagara Falls fireworks, cascading in a dazzling curtain of light along the beach for an unforgettable finale.
