Osaka Mint bureau special opening for the cherry blossom
April 9 – April 15
The Japan Mint in Osaka opens a 560-meter passage to the public each spring for cherry blossom viewing. Along this route, visitors can admire around 370 trees representing more than 100 varieties, with a focus on the later-blooming yae-zakura. This special viewing period lasts for about one week in mid-April. The Japan Mint has been hosting this cherished seasonal tradition in Osaka since the late 19th century.
