To-ji Temple Spring Illumination
To-ji Temple Spring Illumination
March 14 – April 12
Kyoto’s iconic five-story pagoda at To-ji Temple is beautifully illuminated during cherry blossom season, just a short distance from JR Kyoto Station.
The over 130-year-old Fuji-zakura (weeping cherry tree) and the pagoda are lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere. Many other cherry trees, including those around Hyouryoke Pond, are also illuminated, enhancing the scene.
