Sakura viewing boat ride at Okazaki canal
Okazaki canal is located just outside of Heian-jingu Shrine. Cherry trees line the canal along Reisen street and run all the way out to Nanzen-ji Temple.

Tatsuno Cherry Festival
Tatsuno park is one of the best place for cherry blossom viewing. There will be a parade of samurai warriors, a tea ceremony, food stalls during the festival.
