The Sakai Matsuri Festival has been held on the third Saturday and Sunday of October every year since 1974. The main parade with a total of 7,000 participants is on along Oshoji Symbol Road. Visitors can take a close look at the costumes, accessories and fittings from Japanese history. It’s a fun free cultural experience
There are also various events, markets and food stalls.
