DESCRIPTION:Mimuroto-ji Temple\, often called the “Temple of Flowers\,” is a scenic highlight in Uji. In spring\, visitors can admire around 20\,000 azaleas and 1\,000 rhododendrons in full bloom\, creating a vibrant display across its beautifully landscaped gardens. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMimuroto-ji Temple（三室戸寺）\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAddress : Shigatani-21 Todo\, Uji\, Kyoto 611-0013 \n\n\n\nHours : 08:30 to 15:40 \n\n\n\nAdmission : 1000 yen \n\n\n\nAccess : the easiest way is to take the Keihan Uji line from Chushojima to Mimurodo station. The temple is a 15-minute walk. Exit the station left\, cross the tracks and keep walking straight. \n\n\n\nBus : Alternatively\, there is the hourly 43 bus to the temple from JR Uji station or Keihan Uji station (20 minutes\, 210 yen).
