DESCRIPTION:This is one of the three religious festivals held by the Imperial ordinance in Japan. Situated on a quiet hillside\, the Iwashimizu Hachimangu shrine hosts ancient rituals according to the old protocol. \n\n\n\nIn the early morning before dawn\, 500 people holding paper lanterns and dressed in special attire will leave the main shrine hall and follow the path to the subsidiary shrine\, tongu\, where various ceremonies will be performed. SUMMARY:Kishiwada Danjiri Festival ”だんじり”
DESCRIPTION:The Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri in Kishiwada city in the south of Osaka. \n\n\n\nThe festival is the biggest and most famous “danjiri matsuri” in Japan. A danjiri is a traditional Japanese wooden float that has elaborate carvings and is decorated with various ornaments. Some of the floats are so large that they are pulled by up to 500 team members. The wooden floats are made in the shape of a shrine or temple and are pulled through the streets of a neighbourhood during festival days. \n\n\n\nThe highlight of the festival has to be the elaborate floats that are pulled through the narrow streets of Kishiwada at high-speeds. The daiku-gata is given the privilege of standing a top the danjiri and is the star of the show\, hopping and dancing wildly to the music as if to energize and urge the team on to victory. DESCRIPTION:The Inari God makes a parade to give blessings once a year. \n\n\n\nInari festival is the most important festival for Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. The festival  is held at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine from “Shinko festival” APR 23 to “Kanko festival” MAY 3. \n\n\n\nShinko Festival \n\n\n\nDate : APR 23\, from 11:00 \n\n\n\nPriests and accompanying members are in a crown-eboshi hat which is decorated with Japanese cedar twigs. 5 huge gorgeous portable shrines with holy god parades on to “Otabisho” (Otabisho is the temporary place where the portable shrines are being placed until Kanko festival ends.) \n\n\n\nUjiko Festival \n\n\n\nDate : APR 29th\, from 13:00 \n\n\n\n5 Inari portable shrines come out from “Otabisho” and make a tour around local area and give blessing to people. \n\n\n\nKanko festival \n\n\n\nDate : MAY 3\,  from 16:00 \n\n\n\nThe portable shrines\, placed on Otabisho after Shinko festival\, return to Fushimi inari shrine.
