Osaka Festival of Lights 2017 – Midosuji Illumination 2017
Osaka’s symbolic street “Midosuji” is illuminated in colorful lights which covers a total length of about 4 km from Yodoyabashi to Namba.
This is a part of the Festival of the lights in Osaka and various programs will be held during the festival. Illuminated boat cruises, a fountain in a port at Okawa river, and music and light show.

You can see wonderful illumination at the open space in front of Osaka aquarium Kaiyukan.

This mountainside Temple in Arashiyama is famous for its autumn leaves. Red maple trees and moss gardens along the paths in the temple grounds are nicely lit up.  Visitors can also enjoy spectacular views of the city of Kyoto

Kyoto Arashiyama Hanatourou

The historical cultural assets, nature, waterfront, bamboo forest in Saga ”嵯峨”, Arashiyama ”嵐山” district of the city sparkles with holiday illumination.

The walkway is total approximately 5 km with open air lanterns and the route map is handed over at JR Saga-Arashiyama staition for free.

Illuminating Togetsukyo Bridge, foothills and waterfront, a magnificently beautiful natural night scene is rendered.

All Bamboo Forest Walkways will be lit up from Nonomiya-jinjya Shrine to Okouchi Sanso Villa, rendering a fantastical scene. Walking up to the mountainside, a famed Jojakko-ji Temple is also lit up during this event.
