Nishinomiya-jinja Shrine is located in Hyogo Prefecture. The shrine is known affectionately by many as Ebisu-jinja. It enshrines the deities “Nishinomiya-okami”, “Amaterasu-o-mikami”, “Okuninushi-no-mikoto”, and “Susanoo-no-mikoto”. A large plaster wall, and a front gate known as the “Aka-mon” have been designated Important Cultural Properties by the Japanese government.

The shrine is the home of the god of commerce under the name of Nishinomiya-no-Ebisu-san. The Toka Ebisu Festival, which takes place on the 9th, 10th, 11th of January each year, is always a lively event with many visitors and merchants wishing for prosperous business.
